In drug-use analysis, saliva drug testing kits have advantages over the screening of other biological fluids such as urine and blood. Saliva is readily accessible and gathering a sample for saliva testing does not require the use of same-sex collectors nor does it require special collection facilities.
It merely requires a mouth swab to test.
The procedure for collecting saliva is non-invasive and you don’t need to worry about things like shy bladder or the aforementioned same-gender collections when performing saliva drug tests for illicit drugs.
Saliva drug testing is also gaining popularity among organizations that have to conduct drug testing and it fits in with a comprehensive drug testing policy at any organization.
Saliva drug testing is more cost-effective than either urine or hair testing and it is becoming much more common.
